TO FIND US if you travel by road:

Take the road out of Kampala due west to Fort Portal, a 200-mile trip. Halfway is the town of MUBENDE for a coffee stop, then on to Fort Portal. As you come into the town, the market is on your left and a T junction ahead, take the right, follow through to BOMA, then NJARA HILL where you will see “SUNRISE HOTEL” at top of the hill on your left. Follow the signs around the hill leaving President’s Lodge on your right as you go up.

You may pick up the “SUNRISE” logo on a sign before Fort Portal, ½ mile before town, turn right and follow the signs.

AIRFARES: Can be on offer from £400 return from the UK but vary from airport to airport so enquire at your local agent for the best deal. Consider your time of arrival at Entebbe, Uganda since Sunrise is a 4-hour drive from Kampala. A hotel stop may be needed for late arrivals. This can arranged for you. We can offer you transport from the airport at Entebbe.

To see your Doctor well in advance for precautions. Although Sunrise is above the ‘Mosquito Line’ and is a very hygienic western-style hotel i t is wise to take precautions against malaria because of travel and excursions.

To bring £’s, $’s or euros and change at Forex here into Ugandan Shillings (between 2700 to 3300 to the £).
